Mason Williams called it, in 1969 (if my memory is correct), "The Ohio State Great". And so it is. Please note that this is not intended to suggest that I believe the Ohio State Fair is better than any other state fair. I menion it only because the Ohio State Fair is the only state fair that I happen to have attended today. We visited the commercial art, student art, Girl Scout, 4H, and various other areas of the fair, but we didn't spend much time with the chickens, ducks, pigs, and cows. Most of the photos I took were of the food areas and the midway. These are fun, but there's more to the fair than this.
The state fairgrounds (or "Ohio Exposition Center" if you prefer) stretches from north of 17th Avenue to 11th Avenue. This is the 17th Avenue entrance.
