On the way back, I noticed that that sun was up.

Highbanks Park is the closest of many Columbus Metropolitan Parks. I had the day off on Friday, August 17, 2007, so I decided to go for a walk on one of the trails. The temperature was below 70, but the relative humidity was well above 90%.

Bill Blinn > It's not quite yet dawn and I decided to walk into the deep, dark woods.

Bill Blinn > The walk to the scenic overlook starts in the woods, but briefly leaves the woods for a meadow with the woods on one side. I glanced to my left and saw that I wasn't the only creature out that morning.

Bill Blinn > I got to the overlook shortly after dawn.

Bill Blinn > On the way back, I noticed that that sun was up.

Bill Blinn > In the deeper parts of the park, the sun never shines.

Bill Blinn > If I allowed these "weeds" to grow on the property at my house, I would receive a nastygram from the city.

Bill Blinn > Now it's time to leave the deep, dark woods. I never did see Goldylocks.

On the way back, I noticed that that sun was up.
