(The) Ohio State University footballers finally found a team they could beat with ease. Today the Buckeyes invited the Toledo Rockets to Cleveland Browns Stadium and defeated them convincingly, 38 to nothing. One might note that OSU is part of the Big Ten conference while the University of Toledo plays in the Mid-America Conference. Mentioning that would be unsportspersonlike, I suppose, so I won't mention it. Strike that last remark from the record. The jury will disregard it.
While the Buckeyes were defusing the Rockets in Cleveland, Phyllis and I were downtown in Columbus at this year's version of Via Colori. It wasn't its own event this year, but part of The Independents Day Festival, which seemed to feature arts, crafts, food, music, and a garage sale in addition to street painting.
Kaydee and friends Jean and Shaun created an undersea adventure that was not in any way related, so I am told, to September 19 being Talk Like a Pirate Day. At least two pirates came to the event, though, and we noticed another person carrying what looked suspiciously like a treasure chest.
It was a fun day. Kaydee is the one in the shorts with stars.
